Florida Association of Hunger Relief Ministries (F.A.H.R.M.) is a group of small charities that serve communities throughout Florida. For years we realized the need to help non-United Way charities. F.A.H.R.M. is partnering with charities that help the underserved of Florida. They are homeless shelters, women’s shelters, abuse shelters, soup kitchens, food pantries, homebound elderly and other charities. Our members are the small charities that does vital work in all communities throughout Florida. These smaller charities very seldom receive any help from the community that they help because all the funds go to the same larger charities year after year.
 
F.A.H.R.M. is a 501-c-3 charity that joins employee payroll deduction campaigns and fundraisers to raise funds for the smaller charities. We believe that the federations that represent the larger charities are doing great works but so are all the smaller charities and most of them never receive any help from these fundraising campaigns.
